About Pyramid Solitaire

Pyramid Solitaire is a popular single-player card game where the goal is to remove all 28 cards from a pyramid-shaped layout. Cards are arranged in 7 overlapping rows, forming a triangle. The key mechanic is simple: find two exposed cards whose values sum to 13, then remove them as a pair. Aces count as 1, Jacks as 11, Queens as 12, and Kings (worth 13) are removed on their own. A card is "exposed" when both cards covering it from the row below have been removed. The remaining 24 cards form a stock pile. Draw cards one at a time to a waste pile, and use the top waste card to pair with exposed pyramid cards. Strategy involves careful planning — removing cards in the right order can expose more useful cards deeper in the pyramid. Pyramid Solitaire strikes a nice balance between luck and skill. While the deal is random, thoughtful play significantly increases your chances of clearing the pyramid.
